I am the co-owner, director of operations, and physical therapist. She specializes in postoperative shoulders and knees, including ACL, meniscus repair, multi-ligament, concussion, runners, downhill skiers, and return to sport testing.

My acute hearing, vision, and memory (although they want me to fix it so I do not hear, see, and remember what they say and do).

Conservative and post-operative shoulders and knees and concussion are conditions that I like treating.

Our clinic culture and patients are the things I like working here.

Favorites:

  • The Historian – Elizabeth Kostova
  • The Shadow of the Wind – Carlos Ruiz Zafon
  • Running for My Life – Lopez Lomong

When I’m not working, I do snowshoeing, downhill skiing, surfing, hiking, practicing yoga, running half marathons, cooking, traveling, and watching football – go Green Bay Packers and Oregon Ducks! – and other sports with her husband Karl.

As a professional athlete, I believe it’s essential to have the best (physical) therapist with a solid plan to return to sport. I have worked with many over the years, and I’m so glad to have found such a terrific physical therapist in Portland. My therapist is knowledgeable in all areas of rehab and genuinely cares. Rose City Physical Therapy is definitely the place to be.

Rose City PT has been the best. I tore my ACL, had rehab surgery, and Sasha and Leo worked with me and my schedule to get me back up and running for ski season the next winter as an instructor for Ski Patrol. Then 2 years later I had a Tibia Plato fracture, same knee, and once again Sasha had me ready to go on the mountain for ski season and my instruction responsibilities!

As an athletic female who takes in a lot of education about my health as I age, I greatly appreciate Sasha’s experience working with other female athletes of all ages. Women have different challenges to think about due to hormone differences when it comes to healing, and Rose City PT took that into consideration when working with me! Love them!

Sasha and all the staff at Rose City Physical Therapy are just amazing! Over the course of four years, I had three shoulder surgeries. Each time I worked with Sasha during my recovery as well as prehabilitation before each surgery. She was so attentive to all my needs and is just a joy to work with! So knowledgeable and really tuned in to the latest treatment modalities for various injuries. She does a great job helping you understand what you need to do to be successful in recovery as well as why it’s important to perform various exercises or other treatment modalities. If in the future I have another injury that requires physical therapy, I will most definitely return to RCPT!
