I was born and raised in alphabet district of NW Portland! I am a life long Portland Thorn’s fan, casual runner, and lover of Forest Park. After attending high school at St. Mary’s Academy (Go Blues!), I pursued a B.A. from Whittier College in California and played D3 lacrosse (Go Poets!). Grad school then drew me across the country to the University of Pittsburgh, where I explored the East Coast and was indoctrinated by the “Yinzer’s” to root for the Steeler’s and crave pierogi’s. Hail to Pitt!
I am starting my career as a physical therapist with Rose City Physical Therapy! As a student, I have worked in both out-patient and in-patient settings in Portland and Pittsburgh. As a fun aside, I have previously worked in a warehouse, coached lacrosse, and worked many on-campus “odd-jobs” as a student.
Core Values:
Inclusivity, Consistency, Integrity, Humility, Community
“I want to see what happens if I don’t give up” – unknown
I would currently consider myself a generalist, but I hope to continue my education to better serve athletes of all ages!
While I may have a preference for the lower extremity, I learn more about different conditions that are a joy to treat everyday!
I really appreciate Rose City Physical Therapy’s commitment to high quality patient care, generous mentorship opportunities, and the community that is fostered within the clinic!
Favorites:
- Wolfpack by Abby Wambach (Book)
- The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper (Book)
- Everything I Know About Love by Dolly Alderton (Book)
Outside of work, I enjoy running/jogging, biking, traveling, gardening, chatting with friends, listening to audiobooks, and walking our Irish Setter “Dublin”! I also love traveling, and I have a goal of visiting every national park!
