Wilfredo Benitez, MSN, M.Ed.
Will, New Jersey born and raised, received both his undergraduate degree in Political Science and his Master’s Degree in Education from Rutgers University in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Will taught for a few years before deciding to return to school to pursue nutrition counseling. Will earned his Master’s in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland.
His own journey into nutrition began with running and his active lifestyle; and that journey has led Will to realize that nutrition is key for achieving optimal health and sport-related goals. Will hopes to empower you to take your health into your hands by guiding you through the process of meaningful, realistic, and sustainable nutritional changes. Whether your goals are to manage a diagnosis, reduce inflammation, improve athletic performance and recovery, manage your weight, or even to address sleep issues, Will is ready to guide you through the nutritional approach that will be helpful for you as an individual. Part of his intention here at Rose City Physical Therapy is to complement the physical therapy you might be receiving by helping you adopt a nutritional approach that does not hinder healing and allows you to recover more quickly.
Will practices inside Rose City Physical Therapy under his own entity, On Pace Wellness. You can learn more about Will and On Pace Wellness by visiting his website. To schedule a session with Will, call Rose City Physical Therapy or schedule online through his website.
When Will is not working, he is running, writing, continuing to learn, attending Portland Thorns games, enjoying Portland’s food scene, and exploring the Pacific NW with his wife, Valentina.
